Knowsley Primary Care providers have again generously supported local charities and vulnerable homeless groups this Christmas and provided them with treats and presents to make their Christmas a wonderful one.
KIND and the Queenies Christmas Charity (Chaired by the late Herbet Howe, of Herbet Hair Salon, Liverpool) are just two of the lucky Merseyside recipients of their support through providing 100’s of hampers for older people and toys and treats for children in need and distress (KIND).
Local Knowsley residents living temporarily at Alt Bank homeless hostel for men and women, a local domestic violence unit and a homeless families housing unit also received Christmas Hampers. Over 100 hampers have been distributed throughout Knowsley’s hostel accommodation, containing practical items including cosmetic gifts, toiletries, hats, gloves, socks, toys and confectionary.
The charitable donations were made by the Maassarani Group (Dr. Fasial Maassarani) and Towerhill Community Charity, (both Chaired by Dr. Faisal Maassarani).
One of the men living at Alt Bank Homeless Unit stated….“this is brilliant, thanks so much and we really appreciate it. Being homeless can be very lonely and its nice to know someone is thinking of us”.
Dr Maassarani said “The Maassarani Group (Dr. Maassarani & Partners) is delighted to offer our support to Knowsley hostels, Queenie’s Christmas Charity and the wonderful work being undertaken by KIND Children’s Charity through the Christmas Hamper project. The Maassarani Group has supported this amazing charity for several years and it is our pleasure to continue to offer financial assistance to make this a memorable day for all who are involved, happy Christmas from all our team to yours”.
